Pietro Spanghero graduated with a BA in jazz music at the Conservatory "G. Tartini" of Trieste, where he is currently enrolled in the double bass course taught by M.o Stefano Sciascia. He attended master classes and seminars given by musicians such as Fred Hersh, Gunner Plummer, Yuri Goloubev, Hans Sturm, Matt Garrison, and Klaus Gesing. He plays double bass and electric bass in ensembles of different musical genres (jazz, musical, folk music, pop and rock). He has performed in various theatres, clubs and festivals in Italy and abroad. He is currently involved in different projects, in addition to Chiriké, including Bomango, Impango, Trickster Orkester, ZenZone.
